£250 for .EU!
09 June 2006: Zen Internet, a leading UK Internet Service Provider (ISP), has today announced that they will be running a free prize draw for customers who register a .EU domain with DNS between 12th June and 7th July 2006. The winner will be drawn during week commencing 10th July and will win £250 in credit for their Zen account!*
There are now over one and three quarter million active .EU domain names, making it the 4th largest domain in Europe and the 8th largest in the world. There are, however, many names still available, and customers may want to register a .EU domain to protect themselves from cyber-squatters (those who register domains with the intention of selling them back to their rightful owners for profit), and because they may be able to get their first choice domain name, rather than having to settle for a second choice '.com' or '.co.uk' version.
