UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply)
On-line UPS devices provide a primary backup supply of power in the event that mains electricity to the data centre is lost, together with continuously conditioning the power feed whilst mains power is available.
Independent PDUs (Power Distribution Units) and independent breakers
All of our racks are powered independently with separate PDUs and independent breakers. This resilient architecture ensures that a single PDU or breaker failure will not affect the operation of your hosted equipment.
Dual utility power feeds from separate substations
Our data centre is fed power from separate substations meaning that if power from one substation was to fail we have a backup supply of power from another substation.
On site diesel generator
In the event of a major power failure, our on site diesel generator will provide power, via the on-line UPS', independent PDUs and independent breakers, for the whole of the data centre meaning that your hosted servers can still continue to operate as usual.
Resilient power supply is in addition to our environmental controls and comprehensive physical security.
